I'm sure there were plenty of people who had family die in the holocaust and various other wars, and who had their pregnant wives murdered, who didn't go around raping little girls.

Haven't seen the movie, but given what little I've heard so far about the misconduct of the Judge, it's the kind of misconduct I (as of yet) have no problem with. I don't like plea agreements that turn a putatively serious crime with serious time into a slap on the wrist for anyone except those turning "state's evidence" for even worse crimes.

Thoughtful comment appreciated. Agree that drugging and *ss raping a 13-year-old deserves harshest penalty. Tough to single Roman out when all these deals happen every day from crooked judges, and this one is the worst. Ironically, Roman may end up having all the bad luck he's had, plus the fact that he exiled himself and still may come to see harsh penalty. Too bad the judge is the only one who doesn't get f*cked.
