There were great Jennifer Garner pics (lookin' totally hot) and even Amy Adams pics (lookin' her nerdy best), but given that it's a cat and mouse flick (and the fact that it echos the "mirror" composition pic from yesterday's movie), I just had to choose this interesting shot from Catch Me If You Can that features the two critters. I know, I know... it's got Leonardo Di Caprio and Tom Hanks. And yes, I know, it's Steven Spielberg directing. And yes, I realize that Titanic and Forrest Gump and E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial are all individually solid films, but collectively, these films (and their stars) represent everything that is big, shiny, and formulaic that Hollywood has to offer. I know, I know... yuck. It's safe to assume that this film would also be bloated with this much star power and sheen.
But I was on the edge of my seat with this film. It is still shiny, but it's simply so much fun that I couldn't help but want to go out and start bouncing checks to just see if I could get everything I want (including the babes) mostly for the sheer thrill of it all. Watch the movie trailer and read on because...
FilmBender is Funny Movie Reviews. See, Leo is actually a teenager who's, and I hate to just give synopsis, posed as a pilot, a lawyer and a doctor along with defrauding everyone along the way to the tune of over a million bucks in forged checks (and that's a lot of dough considering this was probably 40 years ago). It's an f-ing true story. Hats off to Frank W. Abagnale Jr. who is the mouse that Leo played. You'll love this film. (And Christopher Walken is in it too which is a total bonus [squeek!].) What was that?! Sh*t... I gotta go before I start considering watching/reviewing a chick flick.
this is by far one of the movies that I enjoy the most specially the part when Dicaprio screwed Tom hanks by fooling him that he was an FBI
